Hubballi: Fly91 has announced its new flight service from Hubballi to Hyderabad and Bengaluru starting April 17.
The expansion brings travel options with three direct flights every day between metropolitan cities - Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Fly91, one of the young airlines in the country, will operate an ATR 72-600 aircraft between Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Hubballi on a daily basis.
The schedule was earlier planned for March 2 but was delayed due to some technical issues.

Fly91 Chief Revenue Officer Ashutosh Chitnis confirmed to DH that they will be operating the flights on a daily basis from Hyderabad to Hubballi to Bengaluru, and flight tickets are open for sale.
As per the schedules, the aircraft will depart from Hyderabad at 3:00 pm and reach Hubballi at 4:30 pm. It will then depart from Hubballi at 4:55 pm reach Bengaluru at 6:15 pm.
The return flight will depart from Bengaluru at 6:45 pm and reach Hubballi at 8:15 pm. Then it will leave Hubballi at 8:35 pm and reach Hyderabad at 9:55 pm.
According to sources, Fly91 has been setting up its office at Hubballi Airport, and it will be opened a week before the flight operations begin.
Around eight to 10 Fly91 staff are expected to be stationed at the Hubballi Airport to manage the operations.
Aerodrome Committee member Sunil Nalavade said additional airlines for the popular routes will help more passengers to travel.
At the time of airport expansion, a new airline announced operational dates, which is a good sign for the airport and the region. Hope these airlines will include more routes, and new players will commence operations in the near future.
Three flights to Bengaluru
With the addition of Fly91, there will be three flightsto Bengaluru on a daily basis and three to Hyderabad.
IndiGo has been operating morning and evening flights to Bengaluru, while also having schedules to Hyderabad.
Following increasing demand for the Hyderabad route, IndiGo has been operating an additional flight between Hubballi and Telangana capital starting March 31, which will operate three days a week.
