This month, Apple, Nothing, Motorola, Xiaomi and others are expected to bring all-new phones in India.

Apple iPhone 17e

Apple is expected to unveil iPhone 17e this week. The upcoming device is said to feature a 6.1-inch display with a dynamic island, which houses the FaceID sensor and front camera at the top. With software optimisation, it will be able to offer lively animation-based real-time information on scores on sports apps, the estimated time of arrival (ETA) of ordered food or a cab.

Also, it may feature a CentreStage camera on the front. It will ensure the user is always in the centre of the frame during a virtual office presentation, even if he/she moves around the stage.

However, the display is unlikely to miss Pro Motion (120Hz) technology and support 60hz refresh.

Inside, it is expected to come with an A19 chipset, the same as the standard iPhone 17 model. It will be able to support all top graphics-intensive gaming titles and perform heavy-duty tasks, such as high-resolution 4K Dolby Vision video recording, without overheating issues.

And, possibly support MagSafe charger for wireless charging.

But, not sure if the iPhone 17e will feature a single camera sensor or a dual-camera module.

Nothing Phone (4a) series

Nothing Inc is all geared up to launch the new Phone (4a) series on March 5.

The upcoming Phone (4a) series is likely to be available in two variants-- Phone 4a and 4a Pro. They are expected come in three new vibrant colours--blue, pink, and yellow, in addition to regular white and black shades.

The Phone 4a is said to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen and supports 120Hz refresh rate.

It is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s series Gen 4 silicon, Android 16-based Nothing OS 3.0, 12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1, triple camera module-- main 64MP + 50MP telephoto lens + 50MP ultra-wide sensor with LED flash on the back, 32MP front camera and a 5,500mAh battery with 50W charging speed.

The Phone 4a Pro is said to sport a 6.82-inch full HD AMOLED screen and supports 120Hz refresh rate.

It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s series Gen 4 chipset, Android 16-based NothingOS 3.0, 12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1, triple 50MP camera module with LED flash on the back, 32MP front camera and a 5,500mAh battery with 50W charging speed.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion

The new Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is slated for launch this week on March 6.

It is said to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K (2772 x 1272p) OLED quad curved display, HDR10+, 144Hz refresh rate, offer up to 5200 nits peak brightness. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i shield and also comes with dual-SIM slots, a Type-C USB port, stereo speakers tuned with the Dolby Atmos system and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Inside, it is said to come with a 4nm class 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 octa-core processor, Adreno 720 GPU, Android 16 OS (with three years of Android OS updates and four years of security patches), 8GB / 12GB RAM, 128GB / 256GB / 512GB storage, dual-camera module-- main 50MP (with Sony LYTIA 710 sensor, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation, f/1.8 aperture) with 13MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide camera with macro option, 4K video recording capability, 32MP (f/2.2) front camera ( 4K video recording capability and a 7,000mAh battery with 68W charger.

The new K14 5G is scheduled to make its debut next week on March 9.

The company has confirmed that the new Android phone will come with a massive 7,000mAh battery. It is expected to support 45W fast charger.

And, the device is said to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.

The new iQOO device is scheduled for launch next week on March 12.

The company has confirmed that the upcoming Android phone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo

It is expected to come with up to 12GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, a 7,200mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

Xiaomi is rumoured to launch the new Xiaomi 17 series in India in the second week of March.

The new device is said to come with two variants-- a standard Xiaomi 17 and a top-end Xiaomi 17 Ultra.
