The woman, whose husband serves in the armed forces and was posted outside Nagpur, said in her complaint that the main accused Ayyaz Taj Madare was a former school acquaintance.

While the police have arrested Madare and his associate Ameen Shaikh, a third accused Hazrat Maulana remains at large.

The victim, who is property dealer, in the FIR said that she came in contact with Madare over a property when he spiked her drink during a hotel meeting in 2025. She alleged that the accused recorded compromising videos of her to blackmail her. The accused allegedly sexually assaulted her multiple times and extorted at least Rs 4 lakh. He also allegedly forced her to drink a liquid repeatedly, and would chant verses in Urdu, claiming that to be a part of a black magic.

She further alleged that Madare along with an accomplice took her to Kalmeshwar in Madhya Pradesh where Hazrat Maulana performed some rituals, declared her to be converted to Islam and married to Madare. They also allegedly sexually assaulted her at a hotel, and forced her to eat meat.

While the sexual assault continued, the woman claimed that she initially did not report it as she was scared. However, she eventually informed her husband about it and a case was filed.
