Davangere: As part of the promotional campaign for the movie Bail, directed by Pavan Wadeyar, which is currently running in cinema halls across the state, Kannada actor Shivarajkumar visited 'Trinetra' in the city on Monday and expressed his gratitude to the audience for extending support to the film.
Shivarajkumar was accompanied by his wife Geetha Shivarajkumar, film director Pavan and Deekshit Shetty, who has played a key role in the film.
Speaking to mediapersons, the actor said, "I have been visiting Davangere for many years. In recent years, I have visited the city to promote several films, including Vedha, Karataka Damanaka, and Bhairathi Ranagal.
"I was initially apprehensive about how Bail, in which I sport a salt-and-pepper look, would turn out. However, audiences have been appreciating the combination of Saikumar and Jayaram Subramaniam in the movie. Actors including Loose Maada Yogi, Deekshit, Sanjana Anand, Sangeetha Krish, Ramesh Indira, and Gopalakrishna Deshpande have all done justice to their respective roles," he said adding that plans for a sequel, Bail-2, are already underway.
