Bollywood's fashionista Sonam Kapoor, who gave birth to her second child on March 29, 2026, took to social media to share a special treat with her fans, the first official look at her newborn.

She took to Instagram on Friday to share a couple of pictures from her stay in the hospital, along with a heartfelt message thanking the hospital staff. In one of the photos, Sonam is seen relaxing on a hospital bed, gently holding her newborn wrapped in a white cloth and in another, Sonam is seen having a meal.

Her post conveyed deep gratitude to the medical staff at HN Reliance Hospital, with a special thanks to her OB/GYN, Dr. Avaan Dadina, who has guided her through both of her pregnancies.

She wrote, "Thank you to HN Reliance Hospital for the most incredible experience as we welcomed our second son into the world. It has truly been exceptional in every way. A very special thank you to my OBGYN, Dr Avaan Dadina, who has now guided me through both my pregnancies. There is a sense of trust, calm, and reassurance in her care that is so rare, and I'm endlessly grateful for her support, wisdom, and kindness."

She went on acknowledging the hospital staff for their efforts and professionalism. Sonam praised the environment created by Nita Aunty, which blends excellence with compassion.

"Feeling deeply grateful, cared for, and blessed... Grateful for the incredible team who cared for us," Sonam said.

On the professional front, Sonam was seen in the lead in 2019 rom-com The Zoya Factor. After that, she made a cameo in Netflix's AK vs AK in 2020.

After her wedding to Anand Ahuja in 2018, Sonam has stepped away from the glitz and glamour world to focus on family. She now spends most of her time raising her children and enjoying life with her family.
