The drop looks sharper when compared to recent numbers. Just two days earlier, the film collected Rs 4.65 cr on Day 31, thanks to the weekend boost. However, weekday footfall has now dropped significantly, which is affecting daily earnings. This kind of fall is common after a long theatrical run. Even then, it shows that the film is slowly losing its strong hold at the box office.

The current trend is very different from how the film started. In its first week alone, Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge earned more than Rs 674 cr, setting a huge record. It quickly became one of the biggest hits of the year.

Together, these factors are pushing collections down during weekdays.

Whether Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge can continue its run beyond the fifth week. Even though the numbers have dropped, they are still decent for a film on Day 33. Trade experts believe the upcoming weekend may bring some growth. However, steady weekday performance will be important if the film wants to stay longer in theatres.
