This is a 'wetland' in the far northwest corner of Delhi. But it is one with a difference.

It is actually stagnant, algae-covered water and accumulated garbage that have surrounded residential buildings in Roop Vihar and Sharma Colony in Sector 40, Rohini.

Poor drainage has thus turned the area into a wetland-like zone, exposing residents to persistent sanitation and health risks.
