Imphal: A joint team of the Manipur Police and Delhi Police recovered four stolen luxury vehicles during a series of search operations in Manipur's Ukhrul district, police said.
According to police, extensive search operations were carried out on July 19 and 20 in and around Ukhrul town to trace vehicles linked to a theft case registered in Delhi.
During the operations, the team recovered four stolen luxury vehicles-three Toyota Fortuners and one Kia Seltos.
Police said the recovery was made in connection with an FIR under investigation. Further investigation is underway to identify those involved and ascertain how the vehicles were brought to the district.
The operation was conducted jointly by personnel of the Manipur Police and the Delhi Police as part of the ongoing investigation.
