Eligible candidates who could not complete their examination registration earlier can now submit their application forms through the SSP portal at eservices.icai.org from August 1 to August 5, 2026 (11:59 pm).

According to ICAI, the special one-time application window has been introduced for candidates who missed the earlier registration deadline.

The original application process was conducted from July 6 to July 19, with a late fee submission window available until July 22. However, the institute observed that many candidates were unable to complete the registration process due to confusion arising from the revised examination schedule.

To address the issue, the ICAI Council has provided a one-time opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the November 2026 CA Final examination through the SSP portal.

The November 2026 examination is among the first CA Final sessions after ICAI restored the twice-a-year examination cycle, with examinations now scheduled in May and November.

Earlier, the institute had adopted a three-cycle examination pattern before deciding to return to the traditional biannual schedule. ICAI stated that the transition created confusion among candidates regarding the examination application timeline, leading to the decision to reopen the registration window.
