Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee launched a scathing attack on the BJP from a public meeting in Sagardighi, labeling the recent unrest in Malda's Kaliachak as a “pre-planned conspiracy.” Referring to the 8-hour blockade of seven judges and the subsequent attack on their convoy, the Chief Minister alleged that the BJP is inciting violence to derail the elections and impose President's Rule in West Bengal.

Supporting the Supreme Court's observations on the incident, Mamata stated, “What the court said today is absolutely correct.” She accused the saffron party of funding individuals to create blockades and harass the judiciary. Emphasizing that the state administration is currently under the Election Commission's jurisdiction, she urged the public to remain peaceful. “If you trust me, do not step into their trap. Protect Bengal and Murshidabad from these provocations,” she appealed to the masses.
