The accident occurred when a vehicle carrying Central Force personnel, including an Assistant Commandant and a doctor, rammed into a moving truck while heading toward Bardhaman.

The impact was so severe that another private car following the convoy crashed into the back of the security vehicle. Local police from Gurap station rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a private hospital in Bamchandaipur. Hospital authorities have confirmed that the victims are currently stable, and four individuals have been discharged after receiving first aid.
