Agrizy, a B2B agri processing platform, has elevated Markish Arun to the role of Co founder and Chief Technology Officer. The move formalises a position he has effectively been leading since the company's early days.
He will now lead the company's next phase of growth with a focus on strengthening its technology capabilities at a global level.
With over 25 years of experience in building and scaling technology platforms, including three stints as Co founder and CTO across SMB focused ventures, Markish brings strong expertise aligned with Agrizy's ambitions.
Since joining as Head of Engineering and Products, he has led the development of Agrizy's core technology and AI stack, including its initial product roadmap in 2022 and the Agrizy AI intelligence platform that powers its new product development engine.
In his expanded role, Markish will oversee Agrizy's technology and AI roadmap. His focus will include scaling the company's intelligence layer, building decision support platforms as strategic intellectual property, and developing systems for globally traceable supply chains and technology led quality assurance.
A serial entrepreneur, Markish previously co founded MagicRooms, which was later acquired by Yatra. He has also held leadership roles at GoIbibo as Vice President Engineering, Zoomcar as Chief Technology Officer, and SAP Labs.
Founded in 2020 by Vicky Dodani and Saket Chirania, Agrizy provides customised solutions for the processed agrifood value chain. Its platform enables processors to source pre processed and semi-processed products, supported by integrated services such as quality assurance, logistics, and payments.
