Professional education company Imarticus Learning has acquired Singapore based BELLS Institute of Higher Learning.

The acquisition brings together two institutions focused on professional education and workforce development.

Imarticus Learning, which says it has served over 1 million learners, joins BELLS' network of more than 150,000 alumni, seven training centres across Singapore, and its collaborations with the Singapore government, SkillsFuture Singapore, and enterprises across the region.

The combined organisation has more than 1,100 employees and operates from over 25 offices across India and Singapore.

While Imarticus Learning has built a presence in finance and professional education in India, BELLS adds capabilities in enterprise learning, artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, technology, and workforce development, along with relationships with the Singapore government.

According to the company, the acquisition will provide Indian learners with access to Singapore exchange opportunities and ASEAN career pathways, while learners in Singapore will gain access to Imarticus Learning's programmes in finance, data science, analytics, and technology.

The combined entity plans to offer programmes spanning AI literacy, applied machine learning, AI for finance and fintech, and AI enabled business transformation. The programmes will be developed in collaboration with industry partners and aligned with employer demand across Singapore, India, and the broader ASEAN region.

Co-founded by Nikhil Barshikar and Sonya Hooja, Imarticus Learning offers undergraduate education through the Imarticus School of Finance & Business (ISFB), along with career launch programmes, Prodegrees, global certifications, executive education, corporate learning, and government skilling initiatives.
