Info Edge (India) Ltd, the parent of Naukri.com, 99acres, and Jeevansathi, has announced the resignation of its Chief Business Officer (Naukri) and Whole-time Director, Pawan Goyal, who is stepping down after seven years with the company to pursue other interests, according to an exchange filing.
He will continue in his role until the close of business hours on May 31, 2026, after which Pawan Goyal will step down from all responsibilities, including his positions on board committees.
In his resignation letter, he noted that he led the business to a 16.8% CAGR, while operating PBT margin expanded from 53% to nearly 57%.
The company has not named a replacement for Pawan Goyal as Chief Business Officer and is likely to announce one soon.
Pawan Goyal's resignation comes at a time when Info Edge (India) Ltd reported a 12% year-on-year increase in standalone revenue to Rs 747 crore in Q3 FY26. As CBO, he oversaw the Recruitment Solutions segment, which includes flagship job marketplace Naukri.com and remained the largest contributor, generating Rs 548 crore in Q3 FY26, up from Rs 494 crore a year ago.
Info Edge (India) Ltd recently exited Shopkirana through a share swap deal with Udaan's parent, Trustroot Internet Private Limited, and has also approved a commitment of up to Rs 250 crore to A88 Fund.
As of 12:30 PM today, Info Edge's share is trading at Rs 972 per share, giving the total market capitalization of Rs 63,130 crore (around $6.8 billion).
