AI based travel platform ixigo has launched native apps for its three platforms ixigo Flights and Hotels, AbhiBus and ConfirmTkt within ChatGPT, which enables end to end travel planning through a conversational interface.
Through this integration, users can search and compare travel options across flights, buses, trains and hotels in real time within ChatGPT. The company has also introduced real time flight tracking, which allows users to check updates such as boarding gate, baggage belt and check in counters.
Users can search domestic and international flights with real time prices and availability, access fare insights and view nearby dates with lower fares. To complete a booking, users are redirected to the ixigo app or website.
The ixigo app also offers airport cab options, which enable users to find rides to and from major airports.
With the integration of AbhiBus within ChatGPT, users can explore and compare intercity bus options, filter by categories such as new, top rated, budget and EV buses, review operators and check schedules before they proceed to booking.
With this move, ixigo brings discovery, insights and booking into a single conversational flow.
