JobsUPI, a multilingual and multimodal employment platform, has raised $250K in a pre-seed funding round from IIMA Ventures along with participation from angel investors including Alok Bansal, Anshoo Sharma, Amit Jain, and Manoj Sinsinwar, among others.

The proceeds will be used to strengthen product capabilities, scale distribution, and expand into new geographies, JobsUPI said in a press release.

Co-founded in 2025 by Shrey Bansal and Shubham Periwal, JobsUPI is a multilingual, multimodal, Voice AI-powered employment platform built to improve access to jobs across India. With a focus on speed, accessibility, and hyperlocal discovery, the platform aims to enable hiring in as little as 30 minutes over time.

JobsUPI is building a "quick commerce for jobs" model with the goal of enabling hiring in as little as 30 minutes by making job discovery, matching, and applications seamless. Built on an open network architecture, the platform is designed to improve access to employment opportunities for blue-collar and skilled workers across Bharat.

JobsUPI aims to become a foundational layer for employment infrastructure in Bharat, driven by the belief that access to livelihoods should be as seamless as access to commerce. Over the long term, the company envisions unlocking 100 million jobs by enabling 10 million MSMEs and enterprises to hire more efficiently.

The platform currently operates in North India and is expanding to other regions. It competes with players such as Apna, Smartstaff, and AamDhanE.
