Edtech unicorn PhysicsWallah is all set to acquire a partial stake in edtech platform Rojgar With Ankit, according to a media report. While this would be the first acquisition for PhysicsWallah since its listing in November 2025, the Noida-based company increased its stakes in Xylem Learning and Utkarsh Classes in December last year.
In a stock exchange filing addressing the media report, the company said it is in discussions with relevant parties, including Rojgar with Ankit.
The deal is likely to value Rojgar With Ankit at around Rs 400-500 crore in its initial tranche, sources told Entrackr. The investment is expected to involve a minority stake, although the exact size of the stake could not be immediately ascertained.
Sources indicated that the potential investment aligns with PhysicsWallah's strategy to strengthen its presence in the upskilling and government job preparation segment.
While the contours of the deal are still being finalised, there could be plans to integrate certain offerings of Rojgar With Ankit with PhysicsWallah's existing platform to drive user growth and engagement, sources added.
It could not be confirmed whether the transaction will involve multiple tranches or follow-on investments.
PhysicsWallah did not respond to queries sent by Entrackr till the time of publication.
Founded in 2020, Rojgar With Ankit operates in the government job preparation segment. The company reported revenue of Rs 62.26 crore and a profit of Rs 5.35 crore in FY25. It has not raised external funding so far.
The company is majority owned by Ankit Kumar, who holds a 90% stake, while Shimala owns the remaining 10%.
