Instant household services startup Pronto has extended its Series B round to $45 million with a fresh $20 million investment from Lachy Groom.
The round values the company at $200 million and doubles its valuation within about a month.
The latest funding comes shortly after the startup closed the first tranche of its Series B round at $25 million. Existing investors include General Catalyst, Bain Capital Ventures, Glade Brook Capital Partners, Epiq Capital and Lachy Groom. The startup has raised about $60 million to date.
Founded in 2025 by Anjali Sardana, Pronto connects households with trained and background-verified professionals for services such as cleaning, laundry, utensil washing, meal preparation, car washing and gardening.
According to the company, its daily bookings have risen to 26,000 from around 18,000 since the first close of the Series B round. The figure translates to nearly 780,000 monthly bookings. Its professional workforce has also expanded from 1,440 in January to 6,500 over the past four months. The company added that the platform is currently operating at over 65% utilization.
"Organizing informal labor is going to be one of the defining shifts of the next decade in services. The longer-term vision of Pronto is to be the world's largest labor organization platform," said Sardana.
The startup plans to deepen its presence in existing cities over the next six months. It has also expanded into categories such as car washing, gardening and home cooks in select micromarkets including Bengaluru.
The segment is witnessing rising competition from both incumbents and new entrants. Urban Company said its InstaHelp service crossed 1 million bookings in March, while Snabbit also reported 1 million orders during the same period.
The category has also attracted significant investor interest over the past year. Combined funding raised by Snabbit and Pronto has reached nearly $170 million since January 2025, including around $100 million in 2026 alone. Snabbit also closed a $56 million Series D round last month.
