Managed office space provider Smartworks reported its quarterly results for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year ended March 2026 today.

The firm posted profits for consecutive quarters and crossed the Rs 500 crore revenue threshold during the quarter.

Smartworks' revenue from operations rose 45% year-on-year to Rs 520 crore in the Q4 FY26 from Rs 358 crore in Q4 FY25, according to its unaudited consolidated financial statements filed with the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Smartworks generates most of its revenue from developing, designing, and licensing serviced office spaces, along with fit-out services and other ancillary offerings. It also recorded Rs 13 crore in non-operating income, taking its total income to Rs 533 crore in the quarter, compared to Rs 362 crore in Q4 FY25.

For the full year ended March 2026, Smartworks reported a revenue of Rs 1,796 crore, a growth of over 30% from Rs 1,374 crore in FY24, and achieved profitability with a profit of Rs 10.5 crore against a loss of Rs 63 crore in FY25.

On the cost side, depreciation (related to lease) was the largest expense at Rs 234 crore, followed by operating expenses, which were at Rs 139 crore. Finance costs, employee benefits, and other overheads took Smartworks's total expenditure to Rs 510 crore, compared to Rs 367 crore in the same quarter last year.

As revenue growth outpaced the rise in expenses, Smartworks maintained profitability for the consecutive quarter, reporting a profit of Rs 16.6 crore, compared to a loss of Rs 8.3 crore in the same quarter last year.

As of 11:30 PM today, Smartworks shares traded at Rs 445.9 apiece, valuing the company at a market capitalization of Rs 5,102 crore ($537 million).
