Mobile gaming startup Spill Games has raised $3.1 million in a seed funding round co-led by Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital.

The Bengaluru-based startup had earlier secured $750K from All In Capital, M-League, and other angel investors in December 2024.

The proceeds will be used to scale its portfolio of live and upcoming titles, deepen its internal technology stack, and selectively expand the team, Spill Games said in a press release.

Co-founded in July 2024 by Om Misra, Tapan Ranjan, and Harsh Garg, Spill Games is a mobile gaming studio focused on building casual and puzzle games for a global audience. The startup leverages its proprietary Spillway engine and internal tooling to enable rapid development, iteration, and scaling of high-quality games.

According to Spill Games, its in-house engine and tooling layer help modularise and accelerate key parts of game development across analytics, retention, monetisation, and live operations. This enables the company to launch significantly faster than traditional studios, ship games roughly 4x faster, and operate with greater capital efficiency.

According to market research, mobile gaming is projected to exceed $107 billion globally in 2026.

The company currently operates in the casual and puzzle gaming segment, with a portfolio of five live games, including Cozy Finds, Sticker by Number, and Zen Math Crossword. Three of its titles have achieved positive unit economics.

Over the next 18 months, Spill plans to test more than 20 additional prototypes across casual and hybrid-casual formats and expand its monetisation mix beyond its ad-led model, including new launches in hybrid-casual and in-app purchase segments.

Other major players in this space include Scopely, Zynga, Tripledot Studios, King, and Playrix.
