Redmi A7 Pro 5G Price: Xiaomi has unveiled its first 'Pro' model in the Redmi A-series, marking its expansion in the series line up. The company said that the smartphone will be available starting April 15 through its official website, Amazon and select retail outlets.

Almost two weeks after its debut in select global markets, the Redmi A7 Pro 5G smartphone was launched in India. The smartphone sports a 6.9-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 800 nits.

It is powered by the octa-core 5G processor and runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 15. The smartphone packs a 6300mAh battery.

The smartphone features a 32MP dual rear camera system with HDR support. It also comes with AI-based enhancements such as AI Sky and an 8MP front camera.

Additional features include a 200 per cent volume boost speaker, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IP52 rating for basic dust and splash resistance. The device also backs expandable storage up to 2TB via microSD card.

Redmi A7 Pro 5G: Performance and software

The Redmi A7 Pro 5G runs on an octa-core 5G processor. It can support up to 8GB of virtual RAM expansion for improved multitasking. It ships with Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0, including features such as Google Gemini integration, Circle to Search, and cross-device connectivity within Xiaomi's ecosystem.

On March 11, Xiaomi rolled out its flagship smartphones - Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra in India. Additionally, the company also unveiled Xiaomi Pad 8 tablet.

These devices feature advanced camera systems built in partnership with Leica and are powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon processors.

With the launch, Xiaomi seeks to boost its presence in the premium smartphone and tablet markets as competition intensifies among global device makers.
