By far the most thrilling encounter of the IPL 2026 took place between the Delhi Capitals and the Gujarat Titans on Wednesday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
The match went down to the wire, and on the final ball, GT were able to extract a one-run victory over DC, after David Miller denied a single to Kuldeep Yadav on the penultimate delivery, which would have brought the scores on level terms, and then got beaten on the last ball bowled by Prasidh krishna, which brought keeper Jos Buttler in the picture, who made no mistake in collecting the ball and hitting the bullseye to dismiss a scurrying Kuldeep Yadav. The run-out folded Delhi Capitals at 209/8 after 20 overs, while chasing 211 set by Gujarat after Axar Patel invited them to bat first upon winning the toss. Rashid Khan, who bowled a magical spell of four overs, in which he took three wickets and gave away just 17 runs, was adjudged the player of the match.
