The new device comes with a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and a large 7000mAh battery. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting March 12 through Flipkart, Motorola's official website and retail stores.
The smartphone is priced at Rs 26,999 for the base 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Motorola is offering bank discounts and exchange offers that can reduce the effective starting price to around Rs 24,999. Other variants include 8GB RAM with 256GB storage priced at Rs 29,999 and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage priced at Rs 32,999.
Display and design
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The display supports HDR10+ and offers peak brightness of up to 5,200 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.
The phone has a quad-curved design and a slim body measuring about 7.99mm in thickness. It weighs around 193 grams and is available in several Pantone-inspired colour options. The device also comes with durability features including IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance along with MIL-STD-810H certification.
Camera and performance
The smartphone features a dual rear camera system led by a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 sensor with optical image stabilisation. Motorola says the sensor supports improved dynamic range and better image processing with the help of its Moto AI technology.
The rear camera setup also includes a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view that can also be used for macro photography. For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 32-megapixel front camera. The cameras support 4K video recording.
The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The smartphone runs on Android 16 with Motorola's Hello UI interface and is expected to receive multiple software updates.
Battery and other features
One of the main highlights of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is its 7000mAh battery. The smartphone supports 68W TurboPower fast charging, which the company says can quickly recharge the device.
Additional features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and support for 5G connectivity. The device also includes AI-based camera processing and system optimisation features.
