RVNL share price target 2024: Indian Railways company's order book hits Rs 65000-crore mark; BUY PSU stock?

RVNL Share Price Target 2024: Shares of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) will be in focus today as the Indian Railways' company's order book has touched Rs 65,000 crore.

The company said that 50 per cent of orders are railway projects. Besides, RVNL is also diversifying to other segments and eyeing many projects in the foreign countries.

RVNL is a PSU under the administrative control of the Ministry of Railways. The company is involved in the project development, financing and implementation of projects related to rail infrastructure.

RVNL Share Price Target 2024

According to Sunny Agrawal, Head of Fundamental Equity Research, SBI Securities, railway stocks have delivered good returns in the past 8-10 months. But it is time to be stock specific.

"RVNL's order book is strong. The company can make a topline of around Rs 20,000 crore and Rs 15,000 to Rs 18,000 crore bottom line," he said.

"RVNL is a good company with decent order book and profitability. RVNL can be a good buy. It will benefit India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor. Also, it will gain from Vande Bharat. The target comes out to be Rs 300," he said.

RVNL Share Price History

RVNL is a constituent of S&P BSE 500. According to BSE analytics, the railway stock has climbed 38 per cent in YTD basis. In the past three months, the PSU stock has rallied 59 per cent.

RVNL shares have doubled investors money in the past six months, zooming a whopping 101 per cent. In the past one year, the stock has sprinted 181 per cent. RVNL shares have multiplied investors money by a 641 per cent in two years and 716 per cent in three years.

RVNL Dividend History

According to BSE website, RVNL in 2023 paid dividend twice to its investors -- Rs 0.36 in September and Rs 1.77 in April. In 2022 as well, the railway company had paid dividend to its on two occasions -- Rs 0.25 in September and Rs 1.58 in March. Back in 2021 and 2020, the state-run company paid Rs 1.58 and Rs 1.14, respectively, as dividend to its investors.

RVNL shares have a 52-week range of Rs 345.60 - Rs 56.15 on BSE. The company has a market cap of Rs 52,459.11 crore as on February 19, as per BSE website.
