Country's largest IT services company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Wednesday said its Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 31 per equity share of face value Rs 1 for shareholders.
"Further, we would like to inform you that at the Board Meeting held today, the Directors have recommended a Final Dividend of INR 31 per Equity Share of INR 1 each of the Company which shall be paid on the third day from the conclusion of the 31st Annual General Meeting, subject to approval of the shareholders of the Company," TCS said in an exchange filing on Thursday, April 9.

Meanwhile, TCS reported a 12.22 per cent jump in its March quarter net profit at Rs 13,718 crore. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 12,224 crore in the January-March period year ago, and Rs 10,657 crore in the preceding December quarter.
For the fiscal year 2025-26, its profit after tax inched up 1.35 per cent to Rs 49,210 crore, as against Rs 48,553 crore in FY25. In the reporting quarter, its revenue from operations jumped 9.64 per cent to Rs 70,698 crore from the Rs 64,479 crore in the year-ago period, while the same for the full fiscal jumped 4.58 per cent to Rs 2.67 lakh crore.

Shares of TCS closed at Rs 2,587.75 per share on Thursday, April 9 -- which is 1.09 per cent up from the previous close of Rs 2,559.80 apiece. During the day, the counter swung between Rs 2,605 and Rs 2,530.20 per share.
During last one week, the counter is up 5.55 per cent. The counter is up 8.81 per cent in two weeks and 2.38 per cent in one month. The stock tumbled 19.33 per cent in 3 months, 19.80 per cent year-to-date (YTD), 15.49 per cent in 6 months and 20.28 per cent in one year.
