Exit polls have largely favoured the BJP, with most projections placing it ahead of the ruling Trinamool Congress, though estimates varied widely, ranging from 142 to 208 seats for the BJP against 85 to 140 for the TMC. Peoples Pulse was the notable outlier, projecting a TMC majority with 177 to 187 seats.
The results will determine whether Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee secures a fourth consecutive term or cedes power to the BJP.
