Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026: Registration for the ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026 has begun on the MyGov Innovate portal.
The Ministry of Education announced that the new edition of the programme will be held in January 2026. Students, teachers and parents can apply online till January 11, 2026. It is an annual interaction where Prime Minister Narendra Modi engages with students, parents and teachers to discuss exam-related concerns. Participants can submit questions and ideas related to board exams, study pressure and academic challenges.
Taking to the social media X, the Ministry of Education said that the ninth edition of PPC will once again bring together participants from India and abroad. The programme focuses on reducing exam stress and encouraging students to see examinations as a meaningful part of life.
Who can apply?
Here is the list of categories who are eligible for the program:
- Students studying in Classes 6 to 12
- Teachers from recognised schools
- Parents or guardians of school-going children
All applicants must register through the MyGov Innovate platform. As part of the process, participants are required to complete an online activity and can also submit a question for the Prime Minister.
A limited number of participants may be selected to attend the programme in person, while others will be able to watch the interaction through live streaming.
How to register for PPC 2026
Interested applicants can follow these steps:
- Visit the official website: innovateindia1.mygov.in/ppc-2026
- Click on 'Participate Now'
- Choose the category - Student, Teacher or Parent
- Log in or sign up using a mobile number or email ID
- Complete the online activity or quiz
- Fill in the required details and submit the form
Students also have the option to submit a question for the Prime Minister during registration.
Gets Guinness World Record for highest registrations in a month
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's flagship initiative Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) has been awarded a Guinness World Record for the most people registered on a citizen engagement platform in one month during its eight edition, the Ministry of Education said in August 2025.
According to the ministry, the record was set during the eighth edition of PPC, which received 3.53 crore valid registrations on the MyGov platform, marking the highest-ever monthly registrations for a citizen engagement initiative.
The official Guinness World Record certificate was presented at a ceremony in New Delhi in the presence of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and senior ministers and officials from the Ministries of Education and Electronics and Information Technology. The record was validated by Guinness World Records adjudicator Rishi Nath.
