Akshay Kumar is set to collaborate with Neeraj Pandey for the fifth time. The duo has previously worked together on films such as *Special 26*, *Baby*, *Toilet: Ek Prem Katha*, and *Naam Shabana*.
They are now reuniting for the filmmaker's next project-a biopic on RD Burman.
**Akshay to make a cameo**
According to media reports, Farhan Akhtar will portray Burman in the upcoming film. Akshay will appear in a special role in this musical movie; although his part is brief, he will be a crucial element of the biopic.

A Pinkvilla report states that Akshay and Neeraj are reuniting for this biopic after nearly a decade. It did not take much effort to convince Akshay to take on the role in Pandey's film. His character will hold significant importance in the storyline.
**Film in pre-production stage**
Pandey is directing the biopic, and Farhan's Excel Entertainment is co-producing the feature film. The musical is currently in the pre-production stage, with the team working on the music to recreate the legendary composer's timeless songs. Filming is expected to commence in September.
**Farhan's work front**
Apart from the Burman biopic, Farhan is set to play the role of music legend Pandit Ravi Shankar in a film directed by Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes.

After appearing in *Bhoot Bangla* and *Welcome to the Jungle*, Akshay Kumar is now awaiting the release of Priyadarshan's film *Haivan*. In this movie, he will reunite with his *Main Khiladi Tu Anari* co-star, Saif Ali Khan.
