Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming film, *Ramayana*, has been the talk of the town for the past few days. A teaser for the film was recently released, which has further heightened the excitement among fans.
Now, Yash-the actor playing the role of Ravana in the film-has made some major revelations regarding his part. Let's find out what the actor had to say.
**We Never Appeared on Screen Together**
In a conversation with Fandango, Yash was asked about his rapport with Ranbir Kapoor on set and how they built their chemistry. Responding to this, Yash said, "Interestingly, the two of us never actually appear on screen together in this film. As you all know, this is a two-part movie. So, in the first part, Ravana has his own kingdom, and Ram has his own kingdom."
**What Yash Said About Their Chemistry**
He further added, "But yes, we have met a few times, and he is a fantastic actor. I believe it is the mutual respect that shines through. The nature of our chemistry is such that when you set out to achieve something monumental-and a film like *Ramayana* is truly massive-we all share a common goal: to present this story in the most exceptional manner possible. I feel our mindsets are aligned, so chemistry isn't an issue at all. We are thoroughly enjoying the process."
**When Will the Film Be Released?**
The first part of *Ramayana* is expected to be released on the occasion of Diwali in 2026, while the second part is likely to hit theaters during Diwali in 2027. The film will feature Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Ram, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman.
