BigHit Music's boy group TXT is known for its distinctive concept in the K-pop industry. The five-member group's storyline originally followed five boys navigating youth, friendship, and magic together in a chaotic, apocalyptic world.
Having concluded their original lore with their fourth full-length album, The Star Chapter: TOGETHER, released on July 21, 2025, the group is now entering its eighth year in the industry. Recently, TXT renewed their contract with BigHit Music, a subsidiary of HYBE, leaving fans eager to see what the next chapter holds.
On March 1, the group released a black-and-white introspective teaser for their upcoming album titled 7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns, which is set to release on April 13, 2026.
The teaser presents a stark contrast through striking cinematography that explores themes of loneliness, anxiety, and introspection.
Alongside the announcement, the label also released multiple concept images featuring the members - Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai - dressed in black outfits, while a vivid pink thorn motif threads through the visuals.
Another special element catching fans' attention is a special exhibition currently being held in Seoul, South Korea. The installation features a mysterious figure inside a glass room, with thought-provoking phrases written across the walls, including: 'When love makes you anxious, what do you do?' and 'Where does this anxiety come from?'
