Adaavadi Brings The Beats: LIK's Third Single Amps Up The Mass Quotient

The makers of Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) have unveiled their third single, Adaavadi, and it is every bit the high-voltage kuthu number fans would expect from a collaboration powered by Anirudh Ravichander and Vignesh Shivan.

Released on Monday, the track follows the earlier singles Dheema Dheema and Pattuma, both of which offered a glimpse into the film's varied musical palette.

With Adaavadi, the team leans fully into a celebratory, street-style vibe. The song is composed by Anirudh, whose knack for crafting viral dance numbers continues to dominate Tamil film music. The lyrics are penned by Rokesh, Heisenberg, and Vignesh Shivan, blending colloquial punch with rhythmic swagger. Vocal duties are handled by Mathichiyam Bala, whose earthy voice lends the track an authentic kuthu flavour.

Adding a personal touch to the song is the appearance of Vignesh Shivan's sons, Uyir and Ulag, making Adaavadi not just a musical highlight but also a family moment within the film's promotional journey.

Pradeep and Krithi lead a packed ensemble

Fronted by Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty, LIK positions itself as a youthful entertainer with a strong commercial core. The chemistry between the leads, already teased in earlier promotional material, finds a lively extension in Adaavadi, which is expected to translate into a crowd-pleasing visual on the big screen.

The film also boasts an ensemble cast that includes Gouri Kishan, Yogi Babu, Seeman, Shah Ra, Malavika, Mysskin, Anandaraj, and Sunil Reddy. With such a varied lineup, the film appears to be aiming for a mix of humour, drama, and mass appeal.

Behind the scenes, the technical crew adds further weight to the project. Cinematography is handled by Ravi Varman, known for his visually rich frames, while editing is overseen by Pradeep E Ragav. Production design comes from T Muthuraj, and action choreography is by Peter Hein, hinting at a polished commercial entertainer.

Reunion and release after delays

LIK also marks yet another collaboration between Anirudh Ravichander and Vignesh Shivan, a pairing that has consistently delivered chartbusters. Their creative synergy is evident once again in Adaavadi, which is already gaining traction across social media platforms.

On the production front, the film is backed by Rowdy Pictures, spearheaded by Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan. The project is co-produced by SS Lalit Kumar under the banner of Seven Screen Studio.

The journey to release, however, has not been entirely smooth. LIK has seen multiple shifts in its release schedule, building anticipation along the way. The film is now officially set to hit theatres on April 10, positioning itself as a major summer offering.
