Lakshya made his Hindi film debut in Dharma Productions' Kill. The film also starred Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the film went on to do great business at the box-office.
The actor shot to fame post the success of the film and was next seen in Aryan Khan's web show Ba***ds of Bollywood. Lakshya proved his mettle yet again with another banger that grabbed the spotlight for months at a stretch. The actor is currently busy gearing up for the release of the love story Chand Mera Dil opposite Ananya Panday. The film is being bankrolled by Dharma Production and is expected to release on May 8. The film is directed by Vivek Soni and has garnered a lot of attention for the fresh pairing of Ananya and Lakshya.
However, amidst all this, our sources have told us that Lakshya might step away from Dharma Productions' Dostana 2. The film which was supposed to go on floors with Kartik Aaryan, Jahnvi Kapoor and Lakshya in the lead years back, has yet again faced some delay. Our source confirmed, "Dostana 2's cast has not been locked yet. Lakshya might not do the film." However, Vikrant Massey had recently gone on record to confirm that he is a part of Dostana 2 after the work on the film started again and Kartik and Janhvi stepped away from the project.
So as of now, Vikrant Massey is a part of Dostana 2 but Lakshya might now step away from the project. The source further added, "Dostana 2 is happening for sure but the cast isn't locked as of now."
