Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan made his debut as a director with the series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood last September. The show, that provided an insider perspective of the Hindi film industry through humour and satire, was loved by many.
Now, reports are doing the rounds stating that the young director has been approached by HBO's US team. They have expressed a strong appreciation for Aryan's show and is apparently keen on collaborating with him.
As per a report in India Today, HBO is looking forward to inviting Aryan to come on board and conceptualise and develop new series for the network. The role will be that of a Creative Head or Creative Producer. The publication quoted their source as saying, "Aryan has not committed to the proposal yet. But he has responded to the network, saying that he would like more clarity on their expectations before taking a call.

The publication further stated that in the last couple of months, SRK's son has received around 20 offers from Indian and US-based studios and production houses.
Meanwhile, reports are also doing the rounds that Aryan Khan has signed on to direct a live-action adaptation of Raj Comics character Super Commando Dhruva. However, he has not made any official announcement on his next project.

Meanwhile, The Ba***ds of Bollywood starred Lakshya, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Mona Singh, Sahher Bambba, Anya Singh and Manoj Pahwa among others. It also had cameos by Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, SS Rajamouli, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Emraan Hashmi and more.
The show is a satire, exploring the dark side of Bollywood. Along with Aryan, it has been co-created by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan.
It is currently streaming on Netflix.
