In a new development, it has been reported that Tiger Shroff is set to collaborate with director Vijay Krishna Acharya, the filmmaker behind the blockbuster Dhoom 3. This new partnership promises to bring a grand-scale action entertainer to the silver screen, with the project scheduled to go on floors in August 2026.
Tiger Shroff, who has established himself as one of India's leading action stars, is currently busy with a packed schedule. However, this upcoming collaboration with Acharya is being touted as a highlight in his career. According to a Pinkvilla report, “Tiger is on a roll right now and has been actively signing multiple films across genres. This collaboration with Vijay Krishna Acharya is one of the most exciting projects in his lineup. It's an out-and-out action-packed entertainer…the action is designed to be very slick, mounted on a big scale and unlike anything seen before in Indian cinema.”

The untitled film is currently in the pre-production stage. Fans can expect a complete reinvention of Tiger’s onscreen persona. The makers are reportedly working on presenting the actor in a fresh avatar that will surprise the audience. The source added, “Tiger will be exploring a new domain of action with this film. The idea is to reinvent his image and push his physicality and performance into untapped territory.”
The film is produced by Vinod Bhanushali and Tony D’Souza. While filming begins in late 2026, the team is eyeing a grand theatrical release in 2027. Before diving into this high-octane world, Tiger will finish his current assignments. He is presently shooting for producer Murad Khetani’s next film, which is being directed by Sachin Ravi. The source said, “Once Tiger wraps up his ongoing actioner, he will move straight into this film with Vijay. It's the next big milestone project for him.” Tiger was last seen in the 2025 release Baaghi 4 which also starred Sanjay Dutt, Harnaaz Sandhu and Sonam Bajwa.
