Helmut Marko said, as reported by ORFThe 81-year-old argued that while both drivers were at fault, Liam Lawson should have shown more respect to Perez. As a driver for the main team, Checo deserved that respect from the New Zealander.
Marko had no issue with the 22-year-old going for wheel-to-wheel battles to capitalize on positions. However, he made it clear he didn't want Lawson to race aggressively against the Mexican or any other Red Bull Racing driver.
