Dillon Gabriel, the third signal caller on their roster, has seemingly fizzled out with his training camp interceptions. That has led the spotlight to focus on the other two from that room.
Sure, there is the veteran's albatross of a contract, which makes it very clear that the franchise has to work with him this year before they can think about his future next offseason.
However, the Browns have been reiterating that Watson's millions will not decide who starts in Week 1. This gave Sanders' fans hope that if he performs well, he would get the nod.
New head coach Todd Monken has also clarified that he wants to give both QBs a good chance to fight for the spot, and so far, both QBs have been doing just that.
