When Stefon Diggs parted ways with the Buffalo Bills, it was widely considered that he burned all the bridges, not with the team, but with quarterback Josh Allen . But after seeing him support his former teammate's bid for the NFL MVP honors, things seemingly aren't as ugly between them as they appeared.
After his infamous departure from the Bills, Diggs landed in the Houston Texans and things were amazing until he tore his ACL just eight weeks into the 2024 season. Since he has had time during his recovery, he had an opportunity to keep an eye on his former teammate Allen's recent performances, which has made him a heavy favorite for the MVP honor despite the tough competition from the Eagles' Saquon Barkley.
During a recent appearance on NFL Network, the star wide receiver expressed his confidence in Allen winning the MVP without any doubts, believing he is the most deserving.

Obviously, it's no secret that Josh Allen is amazing. As far as seeing him game in and game out. He's making those plays. It's not new to me at all, It's not new to nobody in the league. I feel like it's just his respect kind of coming full circle, finally getting that credit that he deserves. He's playing at a very high level. I feel like he deserves it.
Even though Diggs' campaign with CJ Stroud and Houston may not have gone as he expected, he holds no ill will towards his former team, the Bills, who are currently leading the AFC East and are strong Super Bowl contenders.
