SZA, a former labelmate of Kendrick Lamar under Top Dawg Entertainment has collaborated previously as well. SZA had a guest appearance in Lamar's recent album GNX and Lamar appeared in SZA's '30 on 30' from her album Lana. She lent her vocals to several tracks, including 'Gloria' and 'Luther.' The latter prominently features samples from Luther Vandross and Cheryl Lynn's classic, 'If This World Were Mine.'

Kendrick Lamar and SZA are set to co-headline the highly anticipated 19-city Grand National Tour across North America this spring and summer. The tour kicks off on April 19 in Minneapolis and wraps up on June 18 in Washington, D.C., promising an unforgettable experience for fans. As for the NOLA gig, fans are already crossing the 't's and dotting the 'i's with the potential set curated by Lamar and SZA.
