Max Verstappen was absent at the Miami GP media day due to a massive milestone in his personal life. The Dutchman welcomed home a sweet little baby girl alongside his long-time girlfriend, Kelly Piquet . Red Bull maintained Verstappen's privacy and did not release much information about such an intimate moment of the couple.

Now, the 27-year-old has revealed the name of the baby girl in a heartfelt Instagram post with Piquet.

Max Verstappen's first child with Kelly Piquet was delivered on time without any health issues. The Dutchman handled both the duties of being a husband and a Formula 1 driver with utmost care. Verstappen only missed a media day and immediately returned to the paddock to participate in the single practice session of the sprint weekend at Miami. The 27-year-old now took to Instagram and shared a cryptic but cute picture of the newborn baby girl.

Verstappen shared pictures of not only the baby girl and Piquet but also revealed the name of the little one. The Dutchman and Piquet named the daughter 'Lily' and captioned the post with a heartwarming message to the child. The 27-year-old will definitely be a great father to the baby girl, as he is already used to handling a little girl after being a 'bonus dad' to Piquet's daughter Penelope.

Verstappen welcomed the baby girl to the world and called her 'sweet Lily'. The Dutchman added that Kelly Piquet and his heart were full of emotions and love for the newborn baby. The 27-year-old also labeled Lily as his greatest gift. The reigning world champion had previously clarified that he won't have any troubles handling both the duties of a father and an F1 driver. Now, it seems that the four-time champion is up for the challenge as he heads into an amazing new chapter of his life.

Yuki Tsunoda funnily calls Max Verstappen 'big daddy'

The entire paddock is extremely delighted with the delivery of Max Verstappen's little daughter. Many drivers and notable personalities have congratulated the Dutchman on being a father on the Instagram post. But Verstappen's teammate at Red Bull, Yuki Tsunoda, has wished the 27-year-old in a rather unusual but very funny manner.

Yuki Tsunoda called Verstappen 'big daddy' after the latter became a father to Lily. The Japanese driver further congratulated the Dutchman while showcasing a subtle but sweet smile on his face. Tsunoda also extended wishes and wished the couple the best of luck in their journey of parenthood. The 24-year-old ended the compliments by highlighting that he couldn't wait to meet Lily and spend some lovely time with the baby girl.

Verstappen will now have to shift his focus from the newborn girl to performing in the Miami GP weekend. The Dutchman will face stern competition from rivals due to Red Bull's continued performance struggles. The 27-year-old has kept up with impressive results despite struggling. However, time will tell how the reigning world champion manages being a father and arguably the best driver in the F1 paddock. While fans wait to see more photos of Lily in the coming days.
