Stephen Curry on the NBA court is no short of achievements, adding another to his list. The Golden State Warriors star hit 25k points in his league career, reaching that milestone on Saturday against the Detroit Pistons.
The star player's wife Ayesha Curry and mother Sonya Curry were also there to cheer for him in the stands.
Stephen Curry became the 26th player in the NBA to hit the 25k record, which came at the Pistons expense in the third quarter of the 115-110 victory. Ayesha Curry and Sonya Curry, also present at the stadium, were spotted taking in the moment. In a clip recently circulating on the internet, the two seemed to be on an emotional rollercoaster due to the achievement. The recognition was met with a standing ovation from the entire audience.
Stephen Curry finished the game with 32 points, springing his total to 25,017. That said, Warriors head coachSteve Kerr also highlighted the performance post-game, calling it his best. Notably, Curry also suffered with fatigue and a physical defense in said game. Nonetheless, Ayesha Curry and Sonya Curry still remain his biggest cheerleaders.
