Rivulis Europe And Spherag Form A Strategic Partnership Agreement Across Europe

The collaboration expands Rivulis' portfolio with advanced irrigation automation and fertigation solutions

13 June 2026, Spain: Rivulis EU has announced a strategic Europe-wide agreement with Spherag, the Spanish agri-tech company recognized for its innovative irrigation automation solutions.

Through this partnership, Rivulis will strengthen its smart irrigation offering by integrating a new range of digital solutions into its portfolio for key European dealers and agricultural markets.

Under the agreement, Spherag products will be accessible through the Rivulis network across Europe.

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Zaragoza, Spain, Spherag has experienced rapid growth driven by its decentralized approach to intelligent irrigation management. For Rivulis, partnering with an EU-based technology provider also delivers strategic advantages, including operational proximity, faster support capabilities, and greater flexibility in serving regional markets.

A key highlight of the agreement is Atlas X, the most advanced device in Spherag's IoT range. It is a compact, robust device that is easy to operate and install, and is ideal for scalable deployment. Atlas communicates bidirectionally with the cloud platform, which processes data collected by a wide variety of field sensors. A comprehensive solution that enables remote, real-time monitoring, automation and control of irrigation systems, helping growers to improve water management and operational performance on their farms.

"This partnership marks another important milestone in our strategy to drive innovation and digital transformation in irrigation across Europe. By integrating Spherag technologies into the Rivulis portfolio, we will be able to offer our customers even more efficient, user-friendly solutions aligned with the needs of modern, sustainable agriculture," said Anthony Sèches, Rivulis Europe Technical Director.

Jesús Ibáñez, CEO of Spherag, highlighted the importance of the agreement: "Rivulis' clear vision and firm commitment to technology as a driver of transformation in the agricultural sector make it the ideal partner to accelerate the roll-out and bring our irrigation automation solutions to a wider base of growers in key European markets. Creating real value for the end farmer is at the heart of what Spherag stands for, and we are confident that this partnership will enable us to do so on a larger scale."

With this agreement, Rivulis reinforces its commitment to delivering integrated solutions that support a more efficient, sustainable, and technology-driven future for agriculture.
