GUWAHATI: The Assam State School Education Board has released the district-wise performance data for the Higher Secondary (HS) Final Examination 2026, highlighting how students fared across the Arts stream.

The overall pass percentage in Arts stood at 79.54%, with more than 2.41 lakh students appearing for the examination.
Among districts, Baksa emerged as the top performer with an impressive 94.29% pass rate. Darrang secured the second position with 92.99%, followed by Lakhimpur in third place at 90.35%.
On the other end, Cachar district recorded the lowest performance in the Arts stream, with a pass percentage of 59.8%.
