GUWAHATI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on March 6 announced the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025, with Anuj Agnihotri securing the top rank.
Rajeshwari Suve M and Akansh Dhull secured the second and third positions, respectively.

Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their results on the Commission’s official websites — upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.
According to UPSC, a total of 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and other Central Services in Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.
The Commission said that the candidature of 348 recommended candidates has been kept provisional, while the results of two candidates have been withheld.
The examination process began with the preliminary examination held on May 25, 2025. The main examination was conducted from August 22 to August 31, 2025, followed by the personality test or interview stage, which concluded on February 27, 2026.
As per past trends, the Commission usually declares the final results within about a week after the interviews conclude.
UPSC also reportedly said that the marks obtained by candidates will be uploaded on the official website within 15 days from the declaration of the result, which means they are expected to be available by March 20.
The Union Public Service Commission has reportedly set up a Facilitation Counter near the Examination Hall at its campus. Candidates can seek information or clarification related to their examinations or recruitment on working days between 10 am and 5 pm, either by visiting in person or by calling 23385271, 23381125, or 23098543.
