The medical sector has been witnessing some pretty significant and substantial developments in the recent years, and now we have an inspiring story that is associated with Hyderabad.
Thanks to the medical advancement, an Indian origin surgeon who is currently in China was able to successfully perform a surgery on a patient in Hyderabad.
Going into the story, Indian urologist Dr. Syed Mohammed Ghouse successfully performed a robot-assisted bladder reconnection surgery on a patient in Hyderabad while operating remotely from Wuhan, China nearly 3000 kilometres away, using Chinese-developed robotic technology.
Mohammed Ghouse performed bladder reconnection surgery on a patient in Hyderabad, in just 90 minutes using China developed robotics and 5G technology, operating remotely from Tongji Hospital in Wuhan, China.
They reviewed the patient's medical reports and planned the movement path for the robotic arms in advance. Ghouse viewed live 3D images from the operating theatre in Hyderabad and remotely controlled the robotic arms throughout the procedure.
While the surgeon was originally in China, the patient was in a private hospital in Hyderabad and still the procedure was complete success. This will now go down as one of the most miraculous stories in the medical field.
