Preity Zinta Celebrates Gene Goodenough's Birthday
Mumbai: Actress Preity Zinta is in a celebratory mood as she marks the birthday of her husband, Gene Goodenough.
On Wednesday, she took to Instagram to share a collection of joyful moments captured during their vacation together.
In her heartfelt caption, she expressed her love, stating, "Happy Birthday to the one that is the center of my universe, the wind beneath my wings and my silver lining in a cloudy sky. Thank you for being the best father, best husband, and my best friend. Love you to the moon & back."
Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan joined in the celebration by commenting, "Happy birthday Gene."
Actress Sonakshi Sinha also sent her wishes with a cheerful, "Happy happy birthday Gene."
Preity Zinta and Gene Goodenough exchanged vows on February 29, 2016, during an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles. Gene is involved in corporate finance and has served as a senior vice president at a hydroelectric power company. Meanwhile, Preity is a co-owner of the Punjab Kings, an Indian Premier League franchise.
Post-marriage, the couple primarily resides in Los Angeles, although Preity frequently travels to India for her work. In November 2021, they welcomed twins via surrogacy, naming them Jai Zinta Goodenough and Gia Zinta Goodenough. Their relationship remains mostly private, with occasional appearances at film events, sports matches, and social gatherings.
Preity Zinta made her film debut in Dil Se and gained fame with Soldier, earning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She has starred in numerous successful films, including Kal Ho Naa Ho, Koi… Mil Gaya, and Veer-Zaara.
