Barcelona, August 24, (HS) Barcelona's midfielder Miralem Pjanić tested positive for Covid-19. The news was confirmed by the club. The club said Pjanić is healthy and home quarantined.

The club said in a statement, "Miralem Pjanić was feeling a bit unwell, after which his Covid-19 test was done on Saturday August 22, which came positive.

He is healthy and self-isolated at home."

"Miralem will no longer travel to Barcelona for 15 days, He will be able to join the Barcelona team only when his Covid-19 test comes negative," the statement added.

Miralem wrote on Instagram, "Luckily, I'm fine and asymptomatic. But there's one thing I've learned, it's that we should never take anything lightly, even those things one should not take lightly those we consider to be the most regular. The life we ​​are living now is teaching us that we should respect the rules and be careful without being nervous."
