India Criticises US Secretary of State's Stance on Pakistan-Sponsored Terrorism

New Delhi, May 29 (H.S.): India has indirectly expressed its objection to what it described as a "soft or ambiguous approach" by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio regarding Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.

Speaking at a press briefing on Friday, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that cross-border terrorism is a threat that requires all nations to come together to combat it. He added that countries which support terrorism or allow their territory to be used to promote cross-border terror activities must be held accountable.

Meanwhile, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval stated that countries must decide whether they wish to align themselves with nations that support terrorism.
