Maharashtra ATS started investigation in Nashik TCS case

Main accused Nida Khan sacked

Mumbai, 17 Apr (HS): Maharashtra's Anti-Terrorist

Squad (ATS) on Friday started investigation into the alleged religious

conversions and sexual exploitation in Nashik Unit of TCS. Two accused in the

case were interrogated by the ATS. Nashik police are frantically searching for

the main accused Nida Moin Navid Khan.

A police officer in investigating team informed that

ATS on Friday took custody of accused Sami Sheikh and Raja Menon for interrogation.

ATS will conduct enquiry from conversion, sexual exploitation and terror

funding angles. Information about the case has also been sought by the National

Investigating Agency and the National Women's Commission. Nida Khan's husband

Moin Khan was also interrogated by the police. Nida Khan's whereabouts,

however, were not known. Based on location of her mobile she has changed her

location thrice in Mumbai's Mumbra region.

Moin Khan stated that Nida Khan is pregnant and has applied

through her counsel for anticipatory bail, the decision on which will be taken

in Nashik District Court on Saturday.

Meanwhile, TCS has been sacked by TCS. Other workers,

except Nida Khan, in the Nashik Office have been allowed to work from home.
