PM Modi's cleanliness campaign in the middle of Mahabalipuram, picked up garbage himself

New Delhi,Oct.12(HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a cleanliness drive on the banks of Mahabalipuram on Saturday morning and gave a message to people to be aware of cleanliness.

PM Modi said that we will remain clean and fit only because of cleanliness. The Prime Minister is currently in Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu where he has a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping .

Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave his information in a tweet and posted a video related to it. He wrote in a tweet that in the morning, a 30-minute cleaning campaign was conducted at a beach in Mamallapuram.

The waste picked up on the beach was handed over to the hotel staff Jeyaraj. He wrote that all of us should ensure that public spaces remain clean and tidy. Along with this, he also gave a message to people to stay fit and healthy.

PM Modi wrote on twitter that Plogging at a beach in Mamallapuram this morning. It lasted for over 30 minutes. Also handed over my 'collection' to Jeyaraj, who is a part of the hotel staff. Let us ensure our public places are clean and tidy! Let us also ensure we remain fit and healthy.
