HYDERABAD: Police arrested building owner Syed Sajid in connection with the building collapse in Gachibowli. Rayadurgam police arrested Sajid at Shamshabad airport and sent him to judicial remand.
Building allegedly constructed without permissions
Police said Sajid had constructed a seven-storey building in Anjaiah Nagar, Gachibowli, without obtaining the required permissions. The building collapsed due to poor-quality construction, killing two workers.
Police search for absconding contractor
Special teams are searching for contractor Khaja Moinuddin, who is on the run in connection with the case.
